My name is Tímea. I'm always happy to rediscover Bratislava with travellers:) and like to be a tourist in my own city.
love learning about new cultures, practising different languages that I know and having a chat about politics/ current affairs, history and life! I also enjoy being in the nature but a 5-day trek in a camp might be too much for me ;)
I'm rather an introvert but open-minded and talkative.

I would prefer to stay with locals instead of going to a hostel, because it's less impersonal and a good opportunity to get to know the country and its people.

Mostly Turkish music (Mert Demir, Zeynep Bastık, Pinhani, Sıla,...), soundtracks, generally pop.
I haven't got a favourite book or movie but I like foreign language movies (Turkish, French, Italian, Arabic, Israeli, Spanish...) and books which are set in different countries (Mohsin Hamid, Khaled Hosseini...). From series: The House of Cards, Homeland, Grace and Frankie, The Crown, Cuéntame cómo pasó, Yargı, Zeytin ağacı, Maestro in Blue…

I am happy to practise any of the languages I speak, help with English, give tips about studying/working abroad plus internship opportunities (AIESEC, ESC..) and of course exchange travel experiences.
I like doing sports-yoga, swimming, tennis, volleyball, gym...
