I worked in IT but am now re-training as a gardener. I'm interested in organic food-growing and volunteer frequently in growing and gardening projects. I like to keep active and keep having new experiences. I like meeting people, I'm friendly and open minded.

I have three rules that I try to live by:
1. Enjoy yourself-
2. -But not at the expense of other people
3. Try to help others enjoy themselves

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling around and have previously done wwoofing volunteering on farms in France, Canada, USA and NZ. I enjoy sharing experiences and have met some amazing people and find couchsurfing to be a fun way to travel and meet people!

Interests

When I'm not travelling I'm volunteering at market gardens and local community gardens. I love growing food. I always like to get outside and do something active. I also like hiking, mountain biking, climbing and playing sports. I enjoy films and studied Sound Design for cinema. I love music and playing the guitar (and even sometimes singing!)

Music - Indie-rock or anything with a good guitar riff e.g metal, alt rock, indie, folk, and 90s britpop (Oasis) but I keep an open mind and like anything that's good

Films - Groundhog Day, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Fight Club, Matrix, Into the Wild, Forest Gump.

Books - Papillon, King Solomon's Mines, HG Wells, Jules Verne, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, everything by Phillip K Dick.
