CURRENT MISSION
Explore and enjoy.
ABOUT ME
I'm Tim. I'm a PhD student at the University of Bristol, UK, the title of which is "Bioinspired Optimised Systems for Terrestrial Locomotion" which loosely translates as "Running and Hopping Robot Stuff".
I spend as much of my free time as possible in the company of friends, be it wandering the (sometimes!) sunny streets of Bristol or grabbing a quiet drink.
I play squash now and again and go bouldering once a week.
When I'm alone, I like to undertake projects and make things - I have a home-made 3D printer which I've used to make some cool stuff! You can read all about my projects on my blog at http://projecttimbo.blogspot.co.uk/
I'm pretty partial to a good nightclub too. I like house and electronic music which is nice since Bristol's such a hub for that, but truth be told I'll have a great night whatever the genre of music as long as I'm with fun people.
When I travel I like to meet locals, grab a drink in a unique venue and see cool and new things.
PHILOSOPHY
I do my best to enjoy myself as much as possible, live in the moment, and let the unimportant things slide.

A friend and I went on a road trip from the UK to the Amalfi Coast, through France, Germany, Switzerland and some of Italy. We camped every night, met a lot of friendly locals and saw some beautiful cities.

I'm reasonably handy. I might be able to fix something.
