ABOUT ME

I'm usually very easy-going and enthusiastic. I love life and I'm still trying to figure out what makes me truly happy. If I'm working or very tired, I get all business and am less fun to hang out with though. I'm working on that ; )

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. I don't have a fixed personal philosophy because it changes as you change yourself.
I believe in Karma though, probably for the same reasons religious people believe in some form of higher power: it gives you peace of mind and helps you make sense of bad experiences in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people in Hamburg if my schedule allows for it. I also like to go to couchsurfing meetings to meet interesting people when I travel.

So far I've only had positive experiences, I met some very interesting and nice people that will hopefully be a part of my life for a long time.

Interests

Way too many to list. I'm always busy with something, be it sports (when I was younger basketball and martial arts, after that weightlifting and now running), or random stuff like watching all five seasons of "the wire" in just one month. I also read a lot of books about topics and ideas that intrigue me like philosophy, psychology, science and entrepreneurship. It's very easy to get me enthusiastic about something. If I stick to it is another question though...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like tons of different movies, especially if they make you think, wonder or laugh. I listen mainly to electronic music and Hip Hop, but I also like a lot of other genres. I used to read a lot of SciFi books when I was younger but nowadays it's usually something related to one of my interests or a book that somebody recommended.

Hanami in Japan. So beautiful that I can't put it in words. It's soothing for your soul.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested to learn from people who've spent a long time on a certain hobby or interest. Mastery and insight come with time.
I happily share whatever I can. If I can offer something interesting is up to you to decide.
