ABOUT ME

G’day! Not accepting requests more than two nights at the moment. If I accept your request and can offer more nights, I will. Otherwise requests for greater than two nights will be declined.

Hi, I’m Tim! Grew up in a small town of 400 people in outback Western Australia. Travelled extensively locally and internationally for work and my own leisure. Now semi retired and a part time photographer travelling through remote Australia creating imagery and video for film projects and for our First Nations People.

The apartment is in Docklands, adjacent to the Melbourne city centre. It is quiet, relaxed and private with your own bedroom and bathroom. Happy to give you plenty of local information about how to discover Melbourne (and Australia in general). There is a pack of information in your room with information on things to see on a budget as well as plenty of public transport options. If I have some time, I may offer to show you around a little but generally will leave you to discover Melbourne at your own pace.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to give back to the world community who embraced and welcomed me into their lives and homes in my own travels. Very importantly I want to provide a safe, positive environment, to allow CSers to relax and feel at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was raised by the aboriginal community in my town. These lessons formed the person I am and shaped my moral compass. It is one of the things I am most grateful for.
