ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Timmi, and I'm a young musician just trying to roam around this wonderful earth with my trusty guitar. I'm a fun loving individual, I'm always laughing, and truthfully never get mad or sad about anything. Life's too short right?

PHILOSOPHY

I guess all I want to do is LIVE life. I want to do as much as I can, help out as many people as I can, and live truly free. I really want to make a difference too, I don't know if I'm going to do it with music, but I know I want to have a positive impact on the world, or atleast someones life.

And I know this is going to sound so "hippie" but I believe everyone should share everything, take care of each other, and love and maintain the Earth. We all just want to be happy right? So let's all be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never done this before, I'm currently living in Susanville CA with my parents, working a ton to buy things for my hitchhiking/camping loadout and to fix up my baby Brielle (my guitar.) Then I plan on traveling until I get bored of it. Or I die. Whichever comes first LOL!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I left home at 18 and bummed around for about a year until I started working. Just staying at friends houses, cleaning and doing anything to help out and earn my keep :) But I honestly loved it, the excitement of the unknown I guess.

Interests

I LOOVVEE music, dancing, cracking jokes, hiking, camping, playing, skateboarding, swimming, climbing, lying in the grass, appreciating natural beauty, and talking to people. And I love animals. ALL the animals in the world. Especially the delicious ones.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies? Toy Story, The Notebook, Saving Private Ryan, Up, Shrek, Crash, Radio, Joe Dirt, the list goes on and on.

MUSIC!? I love The Beatles. Everything about them, and all they've done. Townes Van Zandt, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Jimi Hendrix are my biggest influences musically, but I also love all the old blues artist like Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and Skip James. I'm really into the blues lol. Honestly I love ALL music. Not too picky.

Books eh? My favorite books are Mans Search for Meaning, The Man Who Quit Money, and Chicken Soup for the Traveller's Soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like everything I've done has been amazing, life is just too much fun. Little things are amazing to me, like creating music, a sunset at the beach, and the smell of rain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach anyone about music, whether it be guitar, bass, or singing. I'm not saying I'm a master, because I know I have a ton to learn, but I'm pretty darn good and can teach someone alot.

I really want to learn from other musicians as well. Mainly to stimulate creativity, learn some new licks or style of playing. But also just because I love jamming and playing music =D
