ABOUT ME

I grew up in Miass, a beautyful little town near Chelyabinsk. I have always been fascinated by the idea of traveling around the world, meeting new people, learning about different cultures. Various student exchange programs(FLEX, EF) provided me with an opportunity to make this dream a reality. I spent 1 year in the US, 3 weeks each in Malta and United Kingdom. It was an amazing experience i will never forget.

PHILOSOPHY

There are some things that can wait, some things that can't. Now it's just the matter of finding out what i want to do and get busy doing it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Living in a domitory, i'm unfortunately not able to provide a couch/bed, thus my ability to host people is limited to meeting them, exploring together, having fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Participated in numerous Moscow Couchsurfing meet-ups and events, Halloween Weekend in Moscow, Spanish Cuisine Weekend, American Cuisine Weekend, Couchsrufing invasions to Archangelsk and Volgograd.

I love reading, exploring big cities and their architecture, music, history, learning new languages. I absolutely adore frisbee, volleyball, chess

Various types of music: Rock, Folk, Dance, Classical. One of my favourite bands is árstíðir, a small collective from Iceland called Arstidir. Absolutely fantastic guys with unbelievable music i've been lucky to listen to live in Moscow. Thus started my fascination with Iceland, it has yet to let me go.
I can't get enough of some movie and video game soundtracks, i appreciate music that sends a strong message or gets me in a different mood. Favourite composers - Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Time, Da vinchi code, Pirates, etc.), John Murphy (Sunshine is absolutely spectacular), Howard Shore (LOTR). Favourite OST's - Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Hobbit, LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, GoT, Gladiator.

All the intresting movies and books i can get my hands on when i have a bit of time, as well as some TV shows (The Expanse,Altered Carbon, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Elementary)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm not sure about the things i've done, but the most amazing thing i've seen to date was a trio of whales off the coast of Kamchatka. Their power and beauty are humbling and striking at the same time.

My time, my interests and ideas, my meagre cooking skills, easy going attitude. My appreciation for tea and my chess skills. Kidneys for a qualified candidate, but not lungs, i need those.
