HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to help out other people to the best of my ability.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in the US on and off for a month in the summer of 2013. Have hosted quite many people in Finland and also surfed in Europe quite a bit. So far, everything CS-related has been great!

I'm really low-maintenance, but I also like to hang out with my hosts and their friends.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

1950s-2000s rock, some old punk stuff (The Stooges, Clash, Television, Wire, Buzzcocks) new wave (Blondie, Talking Heads), jazz (Miles, Ellington, Coltrane), folk, electronic (Amon Tobin & other Ninja Tune artists), obscure underground and experimental Finnish rap.

Books: Henry Miller, The Beats, autobiographies, some philosophy, as it was my minor at the university. Wrote my Master's thesis in English on Chuck Palahniuk's Fight Club and my Master's thesis in Philosophy on left-populism.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Drove over 5000kms in Europe without a spare tire. Spent nearly 5 weeks traveling alone in the US in the summer of 2013 and met so many cool people along the way! I take pride in the fact that I have already visited quite a few countries, but there is always room for more.
