Timotej here! I'm a young guy from Slovakia with an insatiable love for travel and a genuine passion for meeting new people from all corners of the world. My wanderlust has taken me to various places, including a life-changing Erasmus experience in Athens. I'm drawn to anything related to water – be it swimming, diving, or even catching some waves while surfing.

By day, I work as a web admin, but my true joy comes from the connections I make while traveling. Sharing language and cuisine tips from my adventures, I'm always eager to embrace the culture of the places I visit. I'm also playing guitar on some basic level, trying to get better.

Currently, I'm diving headfirst into the beautiful world of the Spanish language, and I'm on a mission to master it. Beyond my travels, I've also found fulfillment in giving back to the community through volunteering experiences, with Portugal being my latest stop, where I have been volunteering on a farm taking care of horses, and now I found myself in Lisbon.

Music:
I try not to be constrained to one style of music, so I listen to anything I feel like at that moment. I love punk rock, rock, house, electronic music, rap, video game music, basically anything. My favorite bands include Blink182, Nofx, Skeggs and some Slovak rap.

Movies:
Favorite movie definitely Lord of the Rings, 10/10. Also Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, American Psycho, Christopher Nolan movies and Tarantino classics.

Books:
I am not so huge into books, I am trying to get myself into it more. But usually I read novels, and one of my favorite is probably The Witcher or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (book and movie are both amazing).

2021, Greece. Just me and three buddies, tight budget, and a plan for three unforgettable weeks. No fancy hotels – we camped right on sandy beaches, under the stars, in our sleeping bags. Every few days meant a new island. I read more books in those weeks than in months. It was a crash course in beachside literature. The Mediterranean became our massive swimming pool, daily swimming and chillin on the beach. We survived on salads, simple but satisfying.
But here's the kicker – one night, on a deserted beach, we witnessed something straight out of science fiction. The water around us lit up with bioluminescent plankton, like a sky full of stars beneath our feet. It was pure magic, as if we'd stepped into another world.

Music: I'm a somewhat begginer guitarist and I love to play, so we might even jam together. I also love sharing my favorite songs and discovering new foreign artists and music.

Cooking: Let's whip up some international dishes! I love experimenting with cuisine from different cultures, and I'm more than happy to share my culinary adventures with you.

Language: Currently, I'm diving into Spanish(very begginer), and I'm always up for a language exchange. We can practice together and maybe even share some humorous language mix-ups.

Tech Tips: I work as a web admin, but I love everything technology related, from websites to videogames.
