Music, Movies, and Books
always looking for up and coming bands for a little festival (4000 attendees) that I co-organize with friends near my hometown. this is a nonprofit project.
I'm mostly into garage punk, indie rock, rap, funk, jazzy stuff, and current french alternative scene. nothing too nerdy or noisy though, people at our festival should have a good time lol
house music and anything danceable will make me happy too, except minimal house. recently getting interested in jungle, drum & bass etc.
la femme, cage the elephant, mild high club, ty segall, ramirez, jacques dutronc, bass drum of death, jacuzzi boys, josman, limsa d'aulnay, still woozy, bbno$, veronique sanson, the marias, gee tee, juliette armanet, viagra boys... I also love guilty pleasures, fun types of music e.g. vengaboys, eurodance hits, eargasm god.
I read tons of articles about tech and other nerdy stuff, mostly nonfiction. currently reading "what's our problem" by tim urban. I try to gain new perspectives and learn about the world through reading as many points of view as possible. i try to understand todays mechanics and i wonder how our future will look like.
I don't have a deep movie culture. I mostly waste my time watching random nerdy videos on youtube about things that interest me at some point.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my friends and I organize an independent music festival with 4000 people each year in france
Teach, Learn, Share
happy to discuss about cultures, music, my job in mobile apps, my role as a volunteer music festival organizer... but especially interested in learning from others. currently looking to understand japanese society and culture, also trying to learn the language a little bit.
