Hi Everyone, it's a pleasure to meet you! I'm an English teacher and an avid world traveler. So far I have visited or lived in around 40 countries, and in the past year and a half I have lived in Italy, the Republic of Georgia, Armenia, Thailand, New Zealand, Borneo (Malaysia) and Taiwan. Since I teach English online, I can combine my love of teaching with my love of world travel. After living abroad for more than seven years, I will be returning to the USA at the beginning of October 2023 and plan to travel around the US for about four weeks (16,000+ miles) using the Amtrak USA rail pass. I will have stops in Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland (Oregon), New Orleans and Washington D.C. and would like to find hosts for 1-2 nights in each place. I am a tidy, considerate guest and very happy with a hot shower, a simple place to sleep (I have my own air mattress, so floorspace is all I need) and some good conversation. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From April-May 2022, I walked 700 kilometers (450 miles) of the Via Francigena, from Piacenza to Rome, Italy. Along the way I visited the Cinque Terra, the Leaning Tower of Piza, Florence, Tuscany and of course, the Vatican. Following this one-month pilgrimage walk, I visited Pompeii and took a day-hike from Pompeii to the Amalfi Coast.
