About Me
Hello! My name is Tim and I am a down to earth kind of guy. I enjoy learning new things, meeting new people, going out into the world for new experiences. I am a nerd at heart and could talk for hours about geeky culture. I am very open minded and like to learn about new point of views about religions, politics, and philosophies. Everyone is different and so are their viewpoints!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new friends and give others the chance to enjoy Louisiana in a small town. We have a lot of history down here. Believe it or not, the 300 MPH airplane record was broken here in Patterson by Harry P. Williams and we have a local museum that has the Wedell-Williams racer plane on showcase. And if you want to party in New Orleans, its just down the road, about an hour and a half. We are also close to Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
Interests
I enjoy classic movies, anime, foreign films, videogames, card games, board games, Warhammer 40k miniatures, and all kinds of music. I also like foreign and exotic food and drink. I am a beer enthusiast, especially the dark beers. And a special mention to aviation. Man I love airplanes!

I'll give a top 5 of movies

-Princess Mononoke
-Starwars (All. Hate all you want on new trilogy and 7)
-Top Gun (Man I love fighter jets!)
John Grisham and Tom Clancy are my favorite authors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to work an airport. So we would get to see all kinds of aircraft there. I fueled a Black Hawk and an Apache before. And my boss at the time knew a pilot of the airforce. This pilot was flying an F-16 once to do a flyby over an LSU football game. And on the way back to base, he and his squadron gave us a flyby. It was so awesome!
