Hi, I'm Tim, I'm an Australian veterinarian travelling around Europe for the next few months before I permanently move to the UK.

🌿🐨 I'm passionate about nature, wildlife and the outdoors. Nature photography and hiking are my bread and butter. I love animals of all kinds, so if you have a pet it's an absolute bonus!

I am a lover of food, whether eating or cooking. I'm always keen to try new things. Also a self-confessed coffee snob/addict #sorrynotsorry

I'm also interested in history, which compared to home I feel very spoiled in Europe. Always keen to learn about the places I'm travelling and get a grasp of the local languages.

I'm travelling around Europe for the next few months before I permanently move to the UK. This continent is so diverse compared to home and I think there is no better way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

I'm excited to meet new people, I enjoy connecting with others from different backgrounds and learning about their unique experiences and perspectives.

At this stage while I'm out of country I'm unable to host anyone until next year but I'm excited to return the favour soon!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

After graduation (prior to covid) I moved to the Cook Islands for a couple of months to work as the only permanent vet in the country. It was a daunting and exciting experience that I will never forget (although I will absolutely not miss being on call 24/7).

🤝 I hope to have the opportunity to connect with hosts during my travels and share our mutual interests! Whether it's chatting about photography, history or practicing a new language, I'm always eager to engage with others and learn new things.

👨‍🍳 I'm always happy to cook - I love nothing more than going to local markets, gathering produce and making something old or new!

🗣️I also enjoy sharing stories about the places where I've lived or traveled to, and hearing about others' experiences in different parts of the world.
