We are an Aussie/Finnish couple who sold everything and are currently on a year long travelling adventure through Asia and Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet as many new people whilst backpacking/cycling/hitchhiking/volunteering through Asia and Europe.

Interests

We love to go hiking and cycling. We just finished a year long trip through Russia, south east Asia and the Balkans and have settled in Helsinki, Finland for the time being. After living in Dublin we developed a taste of craft beers and have been trying to find as many as possible along the way :) Sari is from Finland so of course ice hockey is high on the priority list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After travelling through Northern Laos we thought we should do some a bit different, so despite never cycling properly before we bought bikes in Northern Thailand and decided to cycle to Vietnam! We ended up with a total of 1500km whilst cycling through Northern Thailand, southern Laos, all of Cambodia and the Mekong delta in Vietnam. Definitely one the hardest things we've done but was an amazing journey.
