About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To inspire myself to create great art for kids and adults alike to enjoy. To meet interesting people and share some time on this crazy planet of ours!

ABOUT ME

Eldest brother of four, grew up in small town and moved to capital for uni. Love to play games and make music. Been accused of being loud but comes with the turf of having a large extended family. Enjoy the company of friends, talking shite and having a laugh. Tall and slender in build i can hide well by standing next to tall objects.
I have my own business teaching music, dance and drama to kids ages 5-12. It also adapts to bigger kids as well. I write rock music for young people and have a passion for more interesting performing education for that age group.
I have a rock band that also performs family shows.

PHILOSOPHY

Friends, food and fun! Living in the moment and being true to yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The plan is to start with surfing. I wish to meet interesting people and share a part of my life with them. I hope in the future when i decide what the hell im going to do when this travel is over to host other like minded people who just want to experience the world and show them a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but really looking forward to it!

Interests

I have been an active member of the Taoist Tai Chi society for 10 years.
Pianist by trade but can play a little guitar and love to sing.
avid reader of most kind of books but tend to gravitate towards fantasy sci fi.
Love the outdoors and bushwalking/hiking and just walking in general - its also a great time for talking which i also enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Created a table tennis game called ´BottleMaster´. This is a game that is about beer drinking but does not involve the sport of consuming alcohol (unlike ´beer pong´ which is a vastly different thing alltogether). It was created with a brilliant group of friends. Started out as a creative bit of fun and turned into a social giant, holding ´tournaments´ instead of parties. the best thing i have done in my life as the principle object is for the players to agree in order for the game to be played. Many disagreements within our friendship group have been resolved ´on the table´ as it is a great metaphore for getting on in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Music is my life. I have taught for over 15 years and love to give to anyone who wants to learn anything about it.
I have had some experience in a chinese kitchen feeding 30 to 300 people and enjoy cooking in general.
Love to learn about practical stuff like building things and dont mind getting my hands dirty.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Canada, Peru, Viet Nam
