ABOUT ME
I'm a 25 year old filmmaker who also dabbles in writing, photography and VJing. My friends would someone who loves to discover new things about myself and the world around me. I've been called a 'walking encyclopedia' for most of my life and I have a huge passion for knowledge. I'm a very easy going guy, with a great curiosity about other people's lives and experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is one which takes a view that it doesn't matter if you end up rich, it just matters that you've got some great stories to tell.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We're hosting our couch for the next 6 months in a cool modern house! I'll be heading off to North America in May, followed by Africa in September and then, who knows?!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Awesome! We've had some wonderful people stay over and are currently hosting a great guy from Baltimore.
Interests
Film would absolutely be my number one obsession, I was bitten by the bug when I was a child and saw Hitchcock's "Psycho" for the first time and have been at it ever since. I also love cycling, hiking, music, literature, theatre, camping, art, photography, science, philosophy, psychology, politics, conversation, cooking and learning in general. Yeah, basically I'm just a big nerd!

Music, Movies, and Books
Let's just say I'm culturally omnivorous. I love cinema, from the latest well-made blockbuster to the obscurest 50s Philippine art film. The same applies to music and books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Visiting the catacombs of Paris. So much death, so many lives, repurposed into something aesthetic. It was obscene and fascinating and humbling all at once.
2. Exploring Kwibani Cave in Lamington National Park, Queensland. Something about this cave, with its eternally trickling water flows and cool air possessed a deep spiritual melancholy that's impossible to describe.
3. Seeing 65daysofstatic, a band which I am a huge fan of, play at the 2007 Dour Festival in Belgium. To be there was to be taken up in a roiling wave of ecstatic joy the likes of which I've never experienced before or since.
