I am an unruly mass of black curls born in Lima, Peru that has somehow managed to turn my passion into my job. I am a graphic designer (which is a fancy term for corporate artist) that works in an environmental agency trying to save the world one day at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best trips I've had have been when I did unexpected things, strayed far from the beaten tourist path and met incredible new people (actually 2 of my best friends I've met on trips). So I view couchsurfing as a way to get to know a town or city the non tourist way with someone who could become a good friend of mine!

That's a bit of a Sophie's choice for me. But I'll list some of my favorite re-reads/re-views: to kill a mockingbird, Rita Hayworth and the shawshank redemption, a boys life, Much ado about nothing, when harry met sally, some like it hot, MASH

As for music they are too varied to list, I'm more of a "mood" listener. Though some jazz or blues never goes amiss!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once got lost in Machu Picchu because one of my best friends had an Indiana jones bug and decided to explore the wilderness (away from the tour guide). We ended up having to bushwhack our way out and climb over the andenes and back into the trail!

I'm a good teacher, so if you ever wanna be smarter than a 5th grader I'm your gal! All jokes aside I'm a graphic design teacher so I can teach you photoshop or ilustrator so you can edit your trip pics professionally.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good cook but my true talent is drink mixing so I may be persuaded to share my famous chilcano recipe with my awesome host.
