About Me
Hi all curious souls
(You're probably wondering who or what I am. I thought I knew, but the older I get, the less I know.)
My name is Tina, I am currently living in my hometown Bergen, after traveling for a year through Central America, Spain and Portugal last year. Currently studying Spanish and latin american studies, while figuring out what comes around the corner.
Last projects: cultivate tomatoes in Norway. Going pretty good so far!
Or else very into cooking, dancing, cycling, swimming, running, ceramics, drawing, writing, volunteering, skiing, aesthetics, festivals, knitting, gardening.
What I want to learn more about: permaculture, community living
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Using CS again to find the innocence and fun with traveling, not knowing who or what to expect. Spending my time purposefully with people who give and recieve.
ALSO not getting stuck to the mindless traveling without a purpose.
I've encountered so many kind spirited people through CS while traveling while younger, and I want to refresh this spirit again!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very into electronic music, probably too much. But I've been through many genres through the years, indie, pop, rock, indie, techno, but psytrance is the latest fascination that I had meeting a bunch of creative and cool people through my Europe travels last year.
I have a soft space in my heart for The Lorax by Dr Seuss, other movies I found interesting was Frankenstein (2025), Worlds Worst Person, Shawshank Redemption. to be honest I have fallen out of the movie game as of lately, because I can't find a way to keep up!
Currently reading El Principito, Los de Abajo, Emotional Intelligence 2.0
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving on from old trauma and initiating a new chapter in life. I still have a lot of things I need to unlearn and relearn from my old life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook, and especially learn and try out new recipes and local produce!! Huge fan of watching masterchef australia, so sometimes I channel this energy!
Good vibes and deep conversations, a handwritten card, a language exchange in norwegian, english, spanish, french or vietnamese. Conversations about the society, inner feelings and emotions, existential questions about life. I'm also a sucker into learning about history and our lands and cultures!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences with Norwegian culture, Vietnamese culture, French culture, Spanish culture, Czech culture.
Or generally shade traveling and volunteering experiences, or simply just have a talk about whatever falls into my mind.
