About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey there! I am an outgoing and openminded person. I love to meet new people, listen to their stories and share experiences. I'm a very positive person, meaning my glass is always half full and not half empty ;D I'm a scout, so I am very easygoing and don't expect much comfort ;) I love to spent time outside and get to know the country/city and people.

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life, so you don't regret anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had much experience with couchsurfing yet. I am a scout, so I pretty much travelled around and met people spontaneously. But I find the concept of couchsurfing pretty cool! To make it easier for people to see the world and meet new people, so I want to try it, too :) You have to start at some point, I hope I get the chance to meet you! :) If you need a place to stay in the north of Germany, just let me know! :)

Interests

I love hiking and camping - I want to learn about new places and people with my own feet and heart. I love playing instruments (kontrabass, guitar, ukulele, badhran) and sing, I'm always interested in learning new kind of songs and music. I love to be on stage and act with a group of friends. I enjoy drawing and painting, you could say I am a creative person :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am pretty open to all sorts of music, movies and books. I especially love music of the swing era (since I am Swing dancing that is not so surprising, I guess;) and a german genre of "medieval rock" which combines instruments of medieval times with modern rock - uh yeah! But as I said, I am listening to pretty much everything!
I love movies that are smart and have a twist in the end, because I like to be surprised and challenged to think along (something like "The illusionist" or "Prestige").

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With the scouts I went hiking for three weeks every summer. That led me to Norway, France, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden and Scotland.

I spend a year living in Ireland, traveling around and get to know the beautiful country and friendly people.

It's just amazing that you meet great and helpful people who have so many stories to tell :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of laughter and positive energy! Interesting stories from my travels through a whole bunch of countries (only if asked for of course, I can also just shut up;)
A good jam or sing along session, teaching some Swing dance moves.... whatever really to show my gratitute and spend some nice time together :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Estonia, France, Latvia, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Ireland, New Zealand
