Sobre Mim

Hey guys,
I'm Tina and a 24 year old student from Germany. My heritage is polish though. After my graduation I worked as an Au Pair in the UK where I took care of three gorgeous children. I moved back to Germany in 2013 where I started studying Interdisciplinary American Studies in a beautiful medieval town called Tuebingen (where I officially still live). Currently, I am studying as exchange student at the Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
I would describe myself as tolerant, open-minded, inquisitive, simple and nature loving person who also makes funny faces and laughs (loudly) all the time. I am really interested into photography (I am not a professional though), outdoor activities, experiencing new cultures and music (and again, I cannot sing very well and I don't know how to play any instrument - but I looove concerts). I love trying new food and crazy things like rafting or jumping off cliffs ... but I am also very clumsy which can cause some injuries - oops.
All in all, I am pretty normal.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm here because let's be honest: it is the cheapest way to travel. However, it is also interesting to meet people from all over the world and find new friends. While I was traveling and staying in Hostels, I met so many new people and I stayed in contact with many of them. You will learn so many things about others, but also about yourself. I don't have any "real" couchsurfing experiences yet, I was staying spontanously at farms sometimes when I was backpacking as a little scout girl (things you do in Germany). Also, I would always offer a place at my home as well because I know how struggling it can be to find something cheap, but still comfy. And I love being a travel guide.
