CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to figure out where I'd like to move and continue my education once I've finished my associate's degree.

ABOUT ME

I live in a small, progressive, health-conscious, small town in the middle of nowhere in Iowa. I love my hometown but I'm really looking forward to moving within the next year to pursue my education and career goals, and I'd like to travel to visit some college campuses and different cities.

I am a full-time student at the local community college and I also work in Guest Services at a Hotel/Health Spa, and as a waitress at a mom and pop kind of restaurant on the town square. Because both of my jobs are very social and sometimes exhausting, I tend to spend my free time recuperating and watching Friends in bed.

I have a lot of academic goals, one of which is to learn about how nutrition and routine effect how people feel and behave. Someday I'd like to incorporate my knowledge of nutrition into skin care, I'm interested in going to medical school to become a dermatologist.

In the meantime I would like to travel, experience new places, create new friendships, and enjoy my 20's as much as possible.

I haven't had any couch surfing experiences YET, but I've heard a lot from friends and it sounds like the perfect solution to traveling dilemmas.

I love watching Friends re-runs. About Time was a really sweet movie.... Any comedy or well done romantic comedy is my taste in movies.

My taste in music changes all the time, I usually just love anything I can sing along to.

I wish I read for pleasure, but realistically I don't.

I would like to experience the spark between people when you realize that you've just met someone who speaks to your soul in a way that most other people can't. This has only happened to me a handful of times in my life so far, and it's one of the best feelings. I have a lot of fun and joy to share.
