ABOUT ME

I am a caring, easy-going person. I am a little bit quiet, a little bit quirky, but always willing to laugh and have fun! I love learning about other people, other cultures, etc. I am from two different cultures, myself. My father is from Yemen and my mother is Native American (Tohono O'odham Nation). Because of this, I've always been interested in how different people interact with the world around them. I like meeting different kinds of people and am always up for an adventure!

*Currently, I'm living in Nanjing, China teaching English at a middle school. It's really fun, but a little crazy at times!

兴趣

1) Is it weird that one of my interests is food?? Because it is! I enjoy all kinds of food, especially when I have other people to share it with.
2) Also (even if I'm not in the best shape) I like hiking, taking in the scenery, and basically enjoying the world around me.
3) Sitting down with a person and having a really good conversation. The best things in life are the simplest: good people and good food :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1) One time I went to a Brazilian Carnival festival in Tucson with some friends. We just had an amazing time dancing and having fun. It was one of those moments where you had to be there :)
2) When I was visiting New Orleans, we ended up going to a BBQ with some friends on the side of a lake. Food, lake, jacuzzi, and good people to talk with - it was the best thing ever!
3) Spending time with a friend on the top of a mountain, during sunset.
