ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Tina and I'm a fellow couch surfer hoping to experience all that life has to offer. I grew up in Okinawa, Japan and lived there until I moved to Seattle a couple years ago to attend the Univ. of Washington (studying art, communications, and Swedish). I'm pretty friendly and open to all types of people from all walks of life. I guess I'm what you call an optimist but I just like to stay positive and enjoy whatever life gives me, preferably with good company.

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to take life so seriously. For whatever reason, we all ended up on this planet Earth so why not enjoy our time here with the people that you are with?

I've surfed during my stay in Europe in 2012 and in the Dominican Republic in 2014.

Surfed in Reykjavik, Iceland, Copenhagen, Denmark and at the Dominican Republic.

Interests

Definitely traveling, culture, and meeting new friends!
art & design, Sweden!, eating DELICIOUS food, swimming, hiking/camping, having a laugh with friends, going to live shows, longboarding, rockclimbing, snorkeling, etc.

As far as music goes, I'm inclined toward indie music but I also do love my fair share of hip-hop and rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing snow for the first time in Seattle and playing in it! After growing up in a place that doesn't snow, I'd say it was long overdue.
Snorkeling around the coral reefs back home. It's honestly a whole different world in the sea.
Going to my first live show! Some high school band I dont even remember was playing but it got me hooked.
