HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sleeping on peoples' couches and leaving behind apples. I would just like to have a friend in a new city so that I can share a meal...Food always tastes better when you're with others. So tell me your favourite restaurant or bakery and I will meet you there for a tasty dish!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good! Europe was always at its best when I was hanging out with other couchsurfers! Especially when eating in weird dives!

When in Saigon, try to ask taxi drivers how much the trip will cost to go from point A to B, don't be afraid to haggle or walk away.
In Bangkok, you can eat very cheaply if you go to a mall AND it's air conditioned. Definitely eat satay from street vendors, but watch out for accidentally eat chicken ass.
Las Vegas, always get a day pass for the roller coasters.
A lot of restaurants in Tokyo have a cubby or basket for putting your purse in so it doesn't get dirty on the floor and if a ramen place has bibs, don't be ashamed, use it!
