Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've always lived in shared accommodations or student housings and haven't been really able to host but I've been eager to show people around or meet them for drinks.

I've found getting in contact with local CS members to be the easiest and most natural way to socialize when moving to a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am addicted to quotes. I have numerous notebooks in which I note down every single book I have read for the last years and the sentences that made me think or that I found clever/cool. Probably half of my notebooks are full of Oscar Wilde's quotes. For me he is a genuine genius! When it comes to music I am a total intercultural chaos - Iranian, Middle Eastern, Spanish, Portuguese, French, African - from chill-out to playful rhythms.Movies - almost the same as the music - the further you get from the US the better (sorry guys); closer to the East, the more personal and human they are (yeah, I am still talking about movies).

Some of my favourite authors: Jonathan Safran Foer, Rainer Maria Rilke, Ernest Hemingway, Khalil Gibran, Malcolm Gladwell, Henry Miller, Oscar Wilde, Milan Kundera, Stefan Zweig, Vladimir Nabokov, Jerome Jerome, J. Scott Fitzerald, Somerset Maugham, Terry Pratchet...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done was becoming a vegetarian in 2006 - the year I took up yoga and travelled to India!

Countries I’ve Visited

India, Iran, Italy, Monaco, Romania, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
