ABOUT ME (Us)

I am Tina and didnt use the couchsurfing page in forever, which doesnt mean I havent been travelling. ;) When going to a different country I either stayed in hostels or lived with a local family. Which always gave me the best impression of the country. I was studying in Portugal, Porto, where I stayed in an apartment with a local and I was living in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro 2016 to teach English in favelas as a volunteer. I also styed in a fmaily there, even somtimes in the favelas. This was the best chance to experience the city and the country. It was amazing. Now I am working in project management but still want to travel and decided to try couchsurfing again. So I am looking forward to meet you in yout country. :)

ABOUT ME AND KIRA:
We met through studying Medical Engineering Scienc in Lübeck ans stayed close friends since then. We are now invited for a wedding in Finland and therefore Helsinki will be visited by us as well. We are looking forward to meet you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing took plave in Norway, Oslo. It was great. Together with two other german girls we stayed with the couch surfer. Cooked Dinner and talked and laughed far into the night. Ths next Couchsurfing experience shall take place together with Linda in Ireland. We are excited to meet a lot of new CS people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My visit to Norway last year was so incredible. I loved the country, the people, the language...everything. I stayed with a friend from Norway at the beginning and did my first couch surfing in Oslo. It was so muc fun :)
Also I spent one year of my life in the USA. Amazing and huge country. I am happy to have another family over there now (my hostfamily).

Some years passed since i experienced that. I am now a working person after my studies but i still need to get around the world as much as I can. In 2016 I spent three months in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro teaching English in a favela. Unforgettable experience. Therefore I am so open to have more and more great experiences in foreign countries.
