About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Work, Save, Travel, Repeat.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in Austria, but after graduating from Fashion School I decided to make a break from studying, and travel to a country I always wanted to discover!
I lived with a host family in Virginia, U.S.A., for one year. As an Au Pair I took care of their three children. Whenever I had free time, I was travelling around the US.

Now I'm back home, and will start studying in October.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to find something like a goal, but I didn't find it so far. That keeps me searching and moving on! Probably I should write something wise here - but c'mon! Who am I kidding, I'm only 22, and my inner child is still searching the Dragonballs and wishing for my Invitation letter to Hogwarts!

Whatever, we will survive!! That's like my life motto!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did surf three times so far. I only had positive experiences! I met a bunch of awesome people and got some good stories and advice!

I like the fact that people who don't know each other, share their lives and experiences! You get to know people from everywhere. This makes the world a little bit smaller!

Interests

I'm very into movies and talking about them for hours, it's like an addiction. One of my favourite things to do is watching the Academy Awards! It's my favourite day of the year! (I even like it more than my birthday or Christmas,...)

I read as well. Unfortunatly not as much as I want to read, but I'm trying!

Listening to music, since I'm not talented enough to make music on my own!
Concerts and music festivals are a must, at least 3 times a year! ;)

I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, like sewing (I have my own sewing machine, and not those tiny things that you can carry around. I have a plain seamer), drawing, painting, writing, as well as baking. I especially enjoy baking weird things, like rainbow cakes and cakepops!

A new Hobby, I just discovered, that I'm really really interested in, is photography. And this is of course best, when combined with traveling!
Seeing different places, people and culture is one of my greatest interest at all - there are too many places and too little time!

I would like to learn playing Ukulele when I'm back home! But I'm amazed by almost all instruments :)
