ABOUT ME

My boyfriend and I live in the center of Gent, in the most beautiful spot of the city. We stranded here after a 7 month hitchhiking journey through eastern-Europe and (central) Asia. I'm currently working with homeless people and in my free time I mainly go climbing and pole dancing. Except when I'm drinking coffee, which is also one of my main occupations.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I like to offer people a warm and cosy place to come home during a long or shorter travel. I enjoy it a lot to find these kind of places when I'm travelling, definitely when I'm away from home for a long time.

Interesses

I like singing. It doesn't sound well, but it is fun to do.
I like climbing a lot and often go indoor and outdoor bouldering and leading.
I like the energy of thai boxing and the strenght and gracefulness of pole dancing.
I like swimming and hiking.
I like hitchhiking a lot and use it mainly as transportation in Belgium.
I like writing letters and postcards while drinking tea or coffee.
I like to bake cake.
I like to eat and cook vegetarian dishes.
I like flying but I find it rather difficult. I haven't succeeded yet.
I like forests. And fire.
I like the sun but she doesn't like me a lot, as she's burning me all the time.
I like the stories of my grandmother, as well as the soup she makes.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I'm a big fan of postrock, I enjoy classical music, I love nomad rock, chill-step and trip-hop, reggae ... Depending on my mood, the weather and the hour :)

I'd go crazy for Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, Daniel Norgren, Cocorosie and Mark Knopfler.

I have a weakness for Icelandic musicians as Asgeir Trausti, Olafur Arnalds, Sigur Ros, ...
