Spontaneous (like: deciding to drive to Paris at 1 in the morning :)), adventurous, enthusiast, dynamic, slightly living on the edge, dreamer, suffering from severe "growing pains" (stubborn refusal to grow up :)), honest, curious to learn about new people, cultures, philosophies, lifestyles, etc. Always looking for new experiences, knowledge and stories to tell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a few times in places like the Netherlands, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Botswana and Namibia, and have had people stay at my place.

Interessen

Development work, volunteering, music, cats & horses, photography, eager to learn so interested in all sort of topics, enjoy having good conversations, etc.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Love music, mainly rock/pop and some funk & blues. Played piano/keyboards for a few years, have worked in a poprock music store, and have been DJ'ing in a local rock bar. I'm mainly into britpop/indierock. Fave bands: Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Oasis, Placebo, Wilco, Deus, ... Oh, and the Beatles!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

* Made a short movie in Northern Thailand with a bunch of Americans. Topic: "bamboo drum sticks"
* Went for a walk in the Panamenian jungle (full of boa constrictors) in the middle of the night with a loaded gun in my hand
* Watched a breathtaking lightning storm at night, lightning up the 2 peaks of the wonderful Isla Ometepe, Nicaragua
* Paragliding in Goa and Colombia, snowboarding and jetboating in New Zealand, snorkelling and getting stuck in a coral reef in San Blas, Panama, and microlighting over the Victoria Falls, Zambia/Zimbabwe
* Volunteering in the Ecuadorian Amazon forest, away from civilization with nothing but candle lights, the sound of nature and quite a few mosquitos..

I always try to inspire people to life their lives to the fullest, and to embark on travels, as there is nothing as valuable as travelling to gain new insights in the world around us and life in general.
