As an ambivert, I derive the best of both worlds. I thrive on social interaction whether at a large event or with friends. I equally value my time alone to unwind, perhaps by listening to music, planning future travels or simply reflecting. I am adaptable and can find a positive atmosphere in almost any situation.

My first solo trip to Southeast Asia was a transformative experience that challenged me and fostered a newfound appreciation for the unknown. The vibrant markets, serene temples and breathtaking beaches were unforgettable. I learned to navigate unfamiliar transportation systems, build rapport with local vendors and appreciate the simple pleasures of experiencing a culture firsthand. While I faced moments of fear and uncertainty, these challenges strengthened my resilience and reinforced my belief in the power of solo travel to broaden horizons and foster self-discovery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My greatest joys are derived from discovering new things connecting with people and understanding their cultures. This is reflected in my photographs where I am often with friends from diverse backgrounds. While constant travel is not feasible with a full-time job I am always planning my next adventure whenever I have the opportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My adventurous spirit led me on a journey that included my first international solo trip to Bangkok, Thailand; the challenging ascent of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia (the highest peak in Malaysia and on Borneo and the third-highest island peak on Earth); and the profound experience of open water freediving in Batangas, Philippines.
