Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to visit as many countries as I possibly could and I definitely want to travel the interesting way, by living in a real home that brings you experience of a totally new environment. I think housesitting is such a beautiful way to experience a locality as it certainly allows us to travel further and stay away longer, on a travel budget that’s suddenly not the headache it used to be--perfect for a student like me who wants to experience the world so long as I still have the time to do it (in total almost six months of holidays!!!).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band are the Corrs, U2 come in second and Bryan Adams is on third place.
I am a real bookaholic and read almost everything I can get into my hands. I don't think I have one special favourite book but I definitely love Carlos Ruiz Zafòn and John Boyne.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an internship in an English castle (Ickworth House in Suffolk) where I helped to show visitors around and let the castle and its kitchens come alive on special history days. On one ooccassion we even reenacted the Battle of Waterloo with 300 soldiers in costumes and with real bajonettes!
