ABOUT ME

I love language! I have my degree in Spanish and French and am always trying to improve both. I love new and different cultures. Any opportunity I have to experience another way of life is a gift. I am also a perpetual student. I love to learn. If there was a job for someone who wanted to go to school forever I would do it. I would love to go to culinary school, to dance school, to design school, etc etc. I have a passion for many things including music (singing and playing), travel, photography, and cooking. I am always looking to meet people who can expand my horizons. Quiero mejorarme siempre! Je veux m'ameliorer toujours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am an avid couch-surfer. While I lived and taught in France I hosted and surfed as often as possible! Now that I am back in the States I have taken some time away to have a baby and go back to grad school and now I am so stoked to get back into the CS world! I have met quite a few people through couchsurfing and am now full heartedly a fan of this subcultural movement! What an incredible way to share experiences, cultures, and life! Carpe diem! Discover the world around me! Hopefully, I will see many places and meet many people who will become lifelong friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the luck to only have amazing experiences so far with people whom I hope will I will be in contact with forever! I can only imagine it will continue to be the same type of fantastic, open people in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

ALL. I love to read. I'm currently trying to read Le Comte de Monte Cristo in the original French. C'est dificil! I literally breathe music. I love to sing, am learning guitar, and listen to almost anything. I love songs in many languages esp Spanish, French,and Italian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked Europe with my best friend! We did not get to stay very long in any city so we called it our "taste test" of Europe. I'm hoping to really discover cities and regions this time!
I sang with Marc Broussard at one of his concerts in Athens, Georgia!!
I've lived all over the US!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a great cook! I can teach this, give beginning French and Spanish lessons, and advanced English lessons.
I would love to become an expert level Spanish and French speaker as well as to learn more about photography and playing the guitar and also any dance instruction!
