Heya!

I am a laidback, friendly and outgoing person.
I am also tidy, respectful and considerate of others.
I am also very chatty, might need to tell me to shush 😱.

I am currently on my backpacking travels around the world in the hopes of having a great adventure and making lots of new friends on the way.

Completed travel so far: inter-railing around Europe, Trans-Siberian adventure, Tibet discovery, China exploration, South Korea wander.

Currently in Japan planning where to go, transport & accommodation.

After Japan I am hoping to travel the rest of Asia but that all depends on budget. Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmur, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, final destination Oz for a year to earn enough money to get around the rest of the world and home! I'm not entirely sure the budget can take this hit! So might be in Oz sooner 😜.

It might sound strange but I really enjoy travelling by train or bus, although I have tried some hitch hiking which was fun but I think it would be nicer to hh with a friend.

I really enjoy watching films and listening to music any genre really, its a bit like tasting food, I will try it that way I know for definite if I like it or not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going backpacking and heard this is a great way to meet new friends and discover the city.

I would like to get to know the local cultures and traditions out there.

I have done some snowboarding, skydiving and want to try deep sea diving.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite drama film would have to be A perfect world but for Disney its still Beauty and the beast. I don't have a set genre I go for but I am fond of Bollywood films, musicals, westerns, international films. I really liked a beautiful life, it was so bittersweet. I think I would pretty much watch any film and if its awful I could always turn it off.
Music taste is pretty much the same as my idea of films, although I really like Kpop at the moment.
Books... at the moment I read comics and graphic novels... does that count? I actually really enjoy Jane Austen novels. I enjoyed novels by Charles Dickens, Leo Tolstoy, Gaston Leroux and Neil Gaiman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught myself and some of my friends how to make sushi.

I'm hoping that as I travel I will have a lot more amazing things to add to this column.

I can bake and follow a recipe lol.
I have been told I bake an amazing lemon drizzle cake.
I can also make sushi, well Maki and Californian rolls.
