About Me

ABOUT ME

37 yo Parisian, design researcher, educated and easy-going (I think...), I often travel for professional matters but always make it an occasion for more than just work - I'm grateful to have the chance to do a job that I love and that takes me here and there to share ideas and thoughts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been DJing and writing about music for 10 years+. Inspiring artists ?
Drexciya, Terry Riley, Laurie Anderson, PJ Harvey, Link Wray, Boards Of Canada, AFX, Soft Machine, Kraftwerk, Steve Reich, Jefferson Airplane, Tindersticks, Howlin Wolf, The Gun Club, The Smiths, LFO, Silver Apples, Sufjan Stevens, The Knife, Blind Uncle Gaspard, Canray Fontenot, JS Bach, etc.

As far as movies are concerned, my love goes inconditionally to Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch.

And books, well : I'm a scholar, I spend a lot of time reading ! American Psycho is one of my eternal classic and I have a real fascination for Nabokov and his virtuosity. I'm a big reader of contemporary philosophy, with a great interest for the French dream team : Foucault, Deleuze, Guattari, Lyotard, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed several alone on a remote swedish island, with no water and no electricity, surrounded by hundreds of birds and seals. I was sleeping in a lighthouse keeper's house. It was quite close to the artic circle, and the sun would set at midnight and rise at 3AM. It was one of the most powerful experience I ever had.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always glad to share the things I know, about design, education, politics and philosophy. But I'm also glad to cook !

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
