About Me

Hola! My name is Tirso. I am from Mexico, 22 years old (ignore the profile), studying Theater at College of Idaho, and an aspiring writer and performer.

I just finished a semester travelling around the world on a ship and now I wanna see a little more of Europe by land. Idea is to hitchhike my way from Spain to Turkey, then get myself to Lebanon.

The Corrida de Toros in Pamplona and the Camino de Santiago from Lisbon are in the plans as well. Still figuring out the details.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I really like travelling. For the food, the sights and the people, but also because it's uncomfortable, physically or otherwise, and being uncomfortable is the most productive state of being a human can be in. It forces you to adapt, to question what you know, to reconsider what you really want and what you really need. In short, it's the best way to grow.

Problem is, it can be expensive and I'm broke. Couchsurfing seemed like a sensible approach to limiting costs and here I am, writing this.
