COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't been couchsurfing jet, but hope to make lots of new friends.

兴趣

I like working creatively. That takes me to lots of places; second-hand stores, flee markets, meeting with my friends on cosy cafés, curled up in my sofa with a cup of tea; thinking or daydreaming or maybe sketching or writing, in front of the sewing machine, to my work as a preschool teacher in ceramics, into my dreams at night and also to a hunger inside of me that want to learn more, develop.
I’m of course interesting in different cultures and people. China has a special place in my hart. Have been there twice and longing to go there again. Several years ago I started to study mandarin. Unfortunately I have lost most of what I learned but I'm thinking of trying to renew it some day.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love going to the cinema. Unfortunately I don’t go as often as I like. I like Studio Ghibli's films (you know, the Japanese animé maker that did f.ex. Spirited Away). One real diamond is Graves of the fireflies, but most of the films are beautifully drawn and have interesting, unpredictable and several levelled stories. I think I like more independent films, especially when you can see how people live in other cultures, but I’m also appreciate some kind of surrealism and the fiction of the story. Other films that got stock on my mind is Run Lola Run (German), Donnie Darko (US), After life (Japan), The Big Blue (France(?), My own private Idaho (US), The crying game, Festen (Danmark), Eat, drink, man, woman (China), Little sister (Dutch), Beutifull things (UK), My life in pink, Stand by me (US), Antonia’s line (Dutch), The station agent, Broke back mountain (US), Matrix (the first movie), Amants du Pont-Neuf (France), Kill Bill (US), Crunching tiger hidden dragon (China), Hero (China), A nightmare before Christmas , the Blue-, White- and Red movie (the tricolour). Had a Ken Loch period and my favourite is Land and freedom. Movies take me in to another world and I don’t mind going on my own. I like visiting the cinema in other countries.

I like books too. For the moment I'm just reading travel books. Otherwise is my favourite author the Finnish writer and painter Tove Jansson.
