Traveling from place to place has its downfalls - primarily the loneliness that comes with not knowing anyone in a new city. Although knowing you have absolute freedom can be exhilarating at times, over the course of a trek, you become weary of the lack of communication.

I'm on Couchsurfing to help alleviate some of the ware of the road by keeping communication open with the locals in the areas I visit. Whether you're in the middle of the desert or in a sprawling urban jungle, every place has a heartbeat and a story. This more than anything is what I thrive off of.
