Hello, we are Ulla and Paolo, an international couple currently (2018) on a cycling trip through Eastern and Southern Europe.

A bit of background info on us: Ulla is 30 and from Estonia, Paolo is 35 and from Italy. We met in 2010 while both working as long-term volunteers in France. Since then, we have lived and worked in Ireland, Italy, and long-term in Scotland, where Ulla worked as a major events coordinator with a large nature conservation organisation, and Paolo split his time working as a support worker, as a bike mechanic and as a teacher of Italian. For the past two years we have been living in Estonia, where both of us worked in the educational field, Ulla as a project coordinator in Tallinn University, and Paolo as a teacher assistant in an international school.

We are polite and clean people, and we are always respective of others and their homes, as we expect the same from people we host ourselves.

Our individual and shared interests include, of course, cycling (we have previously toured Scotland, Estonia, Finland and Italy), generally being outdoors, nature and wildlife conservation, music (Paolo plays the bass guitar), art and art history (Ulla has studied art and likes painting), world history, cultural exchange and lots more.
