ABOUT ME

We are a friendly and outgoing couple heading out on a 7 month trip that will hopefully drag on for much longer. There are no real plans, a very real budget, but we are always looking for opportunities to stay longer and get to know a place better.

Tracy is originally from the US, but since leaving after university in 2006 has lived in over 9 countries. Eventually she found her way to Sweden, where she met Mikko and the rest is history. Her passion is scuba diving, climbing, dance, travel (of course) and hopes to continue working in the field of sustainable tourism and is always on the look out for her next project.

Mikko is from Sweden, but has lived in the Dominican Republic and Barcelona. He has a passion for all things food and wine (and beer and whisky), and loves to tell a good joke (or several bad ones).

We're hoping to couch surf as much as possible not just to save money, but to get to know better the places we visit, see the less touristy side and make some friends along the way!

PHILOSOPHY

It's nice to be content, but you should strive to be happy, even if it can be hard at times. This is the only life you've got, so do everything you want. Do something crazy at least every 3 mths. Screw the 'rules', anything is possible. And be nice...it makes life better for everyone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a week on my friends family's private island off the east coast of Australia. It was amazing, completely undeveloped and one of the best times of my life

Sharks, turtles and all sorts of other amazing underwater creatures (no whalesharks yet :( ).

Every festival in Spain (Las Fallas, Carnival, La Feria, etc)...they know how to throw a party!
