Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I was sort of thrust into the world of Couchsurfing by my housemate, Marion. She has been the catalyst of my Couchsurfing experience. I've hosted 3 people with her this year, 2 very nice gentlemen from Germany, both taking a tour of Belfast while they were here, and 1 very nice lady from California, who had been taking a round trip of Europe and was having a stop-over in Belfast.

I've also been introducing other people to the world of Couchsurfing, spreading the word among like-minded people. They all seem to be fairly interested, and will probably sign-up to it at some stage in the future, like Mark. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my experiences thus far have been positive! Cooking a dinner for my guests is great fun, but to be informed that it also tastes great makes me feel brilliant.

Drunken Karaoke over the holidays is always fun, and even more so with someone new.

Interests

I enjoy reading, taking things apart, eating both really nice food and trashy food (/guilt), cycling, and mathematics. I like fairly geeky things, so culturally I'm a bit of a dead-end! Science is my passion!
