Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by breaking my couch in for you guys. When I'm not playing hours of Halo against middle schoolers or watching every episode of My Super Sweet 16 ever filmed, I just hurl my body repeatedly into the cushions. Also, I have decorated the couch with throw pillows that serve no discernible purpose. And blankets aplenty!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't been doing this long, but I've hosted two people and didn't forget to feed and water them. And nobody has suffered any major casualties on my watch!

I also have several years experience of friends crashing here because the T is no longer running and they're cheap asses. Cheap asses or drunk asses or both. They have filed enough complaints about the experience, that I have everything perfected for their ungrateful stay. And now I extend that courtesy to you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I majored in English literature, so any book that is ambiguous sets off all my primal instincts and I have to resist writing papers about it. So I've been hitting the nonfiction lately for my own sake. I like me some indie rock, but there's something to driving in a car listening to Lady Gaga pumped up to 11. Or Miley Cyrus. If I'm at a stoplight and there's a car next to me, I turn it up as loud as possible and stare at the driver right in the eye. Yeah, I'm listening to Miley Cyrus, deal with it.

I like any movie as long as it's in a movie theater and I have a bottomless pit of popcorn. I like any movie as long as I'm watching it at home 5/8's drunk with wine.
