ABOUT ME

I want to understand the universe, though I've been studying Physics for long enough to know that that's not really possible, and I want to see the world. I moved from the green, sunny Bavarian countryside to the city of dreaming spires a few years ago to study and I haven't looked back - I can't help but look ahead; I get nervous when I don't have a plane ticket booked to somewhere.

I was an active scout for many years. I've lit a fire in a tent (the type designed for that, of course!), stared out into heavy rain protected only by a thin layer of canvas, and hiked through the Scottish highlands with a group of teenagers.

To round this off, some (vague) quotes from some of my friends:
