Preparing for an ERASMUS exchange in Istanbul and an Europe-Trip afterwards

ABOUT ME

I am a funny and open minded 25 year old guy. I love to travel and meet new and interesting people all over the world.

After school I started an apprenticeship as a shipbroker, which I finished in Jun '13. Within my apprenticeship I got the chance to work in other countries like Netherlands, China and Hong Kong. It was an amazing experience, especially being able to see all the differences in our life styles. It was both an educating and humbling exerience.

2013/14 I travel through the beautiful country Australia with my backpack. It was a wonderful experience and I was so lucky meeting so many nice persons.
- I can tell you some very interesting stories once we we meet -

After Australia I traveled South East Asia. I started in Singapore and made my way through Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia.
South East Asia was very special to me, because of it´s differences, both cultural and natural. I visited so many beautiful places and had so much fun with random people I have had never met before. Now I am happy to call these people "friends" ! That´s what is it all about!

In my freetime I love to play sports like handball, soccer and once a year I go to Norway for a couple of weeks of snowboarding with friends.

At the moment I am studying "Maritime Management" in a dual study system, which means I have only little freetime. But you can try to contact me and I will see what I can do!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy meeting new people and get to know their experiences and stories. These moments always inspire me to go on travelling and lern more about our beautiful planet.

I´d like to return all the friendlines and opennes I received and like to welcome you in Hamburg-Germany.

Despite I'm not the best musician, I'm carrying a ukulele with me and we can jam or you can teach me something on it.

I love the international alternitive atmosphere in these couchsurfing-moments when it comes to surfing or meetings. I'm just quite new to it so I just want to learn more about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS in August´13, but I only have little time to experience it. All the friendly and amazing people I have met so far really inspire me to do couch surfing more often. It´s awesome and I am very thankful for that!
