Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would rather sleep on someone's floor, after getting to know them, sharing a meal with them, than to be in a sterile place like a hotel or even a hostel. Hostels have a lot of chaos; I prefer the one on one (so to speak) in a warm environment, a place that is actually a home. The energy feels different and because of my autism, I'm sensitive to this and details like smell, lighting, and movement. I am happy with my divergent thinking since it opens up new dimensions that others aren't aware of, and I like sharing myself and my observations with people who are open to the experience.
