ABOUT ME

My most formative experiences occurred while living and working outside the country, so I'm always interested in meeting new folks from other parts of the world.

I've studied in Zimbabwe and worked in Guinea.. traveled a bit in Africa, Europe and Mexico.

I recently escaped my old job working in the Texas legislature, and now I split my time between working in the DRC (on an civil society development project) and doing Austin things in Austin.

While I have a slight obsession w/ politics, I enjoy talking about just about anything else... I enjoy checking out new music, hiking - when I can grab the chance - and roadtripping.
