I'm Tami, and my favorite hobby is to travel. I have been to various countries in the Caribbean and Central America for volunteer trips. My goal in life is to visit every country at least once, and I absolutely plan on reaching it.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera is my favorite book.

My favorite bands include The Shins, Blind Pilot, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Avett Brothers, Jack Johnson, etc

I love almost any movie, as long as it's not a chick flick :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to El Salvador and built a house for an impoverished family living in a house with trash bags for walls. It was humbling and amazing, and the best experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about what people believe, be it religion, life, philosophy, whatever. I love to listen and try to understand how others think without judging. I love to learn about other cultures and ways of living. I love cooking and baking, so I could attempt to teach someone how to make a great dinner :) I can also gross people out with nursing school stories!
