CURRENT MISSION
To clean my room.
ABOUT ME
I am a fun loving, easy going guy! I enjoy meeting new people and having interesting conversations! I love to travel and do things that take me out of my comfort zone!
I play the bass drum in the marching band at my university, which is great! We got to go to California this past year to play for our football team at the Rose Bowl, which was an experience I'll never forget!
I'm not really sure what else to say about myself. I'll figure it out later.
PHILOSOPHY
"But I'll tell you what hermits realize. If you go off into a far, far forest and get very quiet, you'll come to understand that you're connected with everything." - Alan Watts
I am on this Earth to enjoy life and experience all that I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many, many different kinds of music. I've been on an electronic kick recently (Pretty Lights, Tobacco, Gorillaz, Starfucker, Boards of Canada, etc...) but I also like indie music. I'm a sucker for songs with great drumming! If it gets me moving, whether it's just tapping my foot or full out dancing, I love it!
I like independent and foreign films. I also like cult movies and anything really quirky! Some of my favorites include "Der Baader Meinhof Komplex", "City of God", "Fight Club", "Donnie Darko", "Star Wars", "Hook", "Full Metal Jacket", and "The Shining".
I really like sci-fi books. Some of my favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut, Ray Bradbury, and Douglas Adams. I also enjoy reading philosophy. I took a German literature class this semester and read a lot of really good books, plays, and short stories, such as "Das Urteil" - Franz Kafka, "Die Physiker" - Friedrich Dürrenmatt, and "Am kürzeren Ende der Sonnenallee" - Thomas Brussig. "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens is up towards the top of the list as well!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past summer my friend and I went on a week long bike ride across the state of Iowa called RAGBRAI. We joined thousands of people in biking from the western side of the state all the way to the Mississippi River on the eastern side, about 500 miles! We had a great time and met all different kinds of people. Definitely something I'd recommend!
