ABOUT ME

I grew up in Arizona (USA). I have a large family, and I really enjoy it. I have played basketball as long as I can remember. Playing basketball has allowed me to travel the world (35 states, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Tunisia, Mexico, Canada, Slovakia, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Romania).

I'm not sure what I want to do with my life, but I know that I want to serve people somehow. Right now, I am just really enjoying playing a game that I love and having time to travel and learn about the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift, and I want to make the most of it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to CouchSurfing, but I'm very excited to get involved! I have several friends who have been involved in CouchSurfing (hosting, meeting for coffee, traveling, etc.), and I have heard nothing but good things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Aveiro, Portugal. Met a great family and had a great time! We stayed up talking until 3 in the morning! It's amazing how someone can be a stranger one day and a friend the next :-)

I hosted a couple of awesome people from Slovakia while I was living in Portugal. We had a great time exploring the city together, cooking, hanging out, taking road trips, etc. Great experience!!!

I don't watch many movies, but when I do watch them, I like movies that are funny or inspirational.

I like country music the most, but I also love listening to music that is famous in different countries.

Went skydiving with my brother and my best friend.

Went scuba diving in the Florida Keys.

Played for the USA Basketball team - won a gold medal.

I truly enjoy meeting all kinds of people. I might have more in common with some people, but I believe that we are all different for a reason, and everyone has something important to offer to the world.
