About Me
Hi my name is Tim and I am a freelance software engineer that loves to travel. I quit my full time job in New York City in Dec 2016 and have been traveling since, occasionally working to pay for my trips. I have since moved back into my house that tI've had for the last few years in Philadelphia and I try to Airbnb my place with 2 bedrooms when I travel to help pay for trips, when I'm not traveling I am looking to host couch surfers in the spare bedroom for long or short term stays.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My main goal is to meet people who also like to travel and host people so that I can eventually visit any couch surfers that I have hosted. I'm alway looking for a reason to travel and what better than making a friend through the platform and having a local show you around new cities/countries.
Also my new top bucket list destination this year is Tokyo & really Japan in general so would be amazing to meet someone from the area or currently lives there!
Interests
In the past year I've been focused on expanding my interests not only traveling but also into new technologies like cryptocurrency and work-wise with React and building out online coding classes.
