Easygoing, intelligent guy with broad interest who only recently started traveling outside Europe and now did a fair part of the world. Society, politics, LGBT, art, music and books are my most important interests.

Working for the city of Amsterdam. Happy to welcome the guests to my place to get to know it a Amsterdam.

Oh yeah, I'm gay. If you somehow can't cope with that, I'm sorry. Just ignore me :)

I basicly am a pig when it comes to taking in culture, I read, watch, listen to an incredible wide range of different stuff:

Some readings of the last couple of years: Michael Cunningham (a lot), The QI Book of General Ignorance, The Circle by Dave Eggers and Good People and World Shadow by Nir Baram, Second-Hand Time, the Modern History of Russia and the former Soviet Union in Dramatic Confessions (mustread for who wants to understand modern Russia), Haruki Murukami and what sould be on everybodies reading list: Bill Bryson - A Short History of Nearly Everything.

Movies I really like: Mulholland Drive, 'You, Me and Everyone We Know', '2001, A Space Oddysey', Almodovar (al lot of it), Her, Persepolis, Lars von Trier, Mein Bruder der Vampier, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Undertow (Contracorriente), Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Shortbus, Das Leben der Anderen, Un Amour de Jeunesse, Weekend, Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, but also Meet Joe Black, 50 first dates, Amelie, The Impossible, Deadpool, Star Wars, Brokeback Mountain, etc etc
